DE EAGLE BEST NIGERIA LIMITED acknowledges its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of HS&E Protection at all worksites and throughout all activities in different phases of the project.
The company HSE Policy Statements together with the operation of the Safety Management System (SMS) as detailed in this Health, Safety and Environmental Work Plan support this commitment.

Has a 'Duty of Care' to ensure that the protection of the environment is paramount and is therefore committed to the continual improvement of good environmental practice and the prevention of pollution.
It is the company's policy to comply with all relevant environmental legislation and industry best practices and to conduct all operations in a manner, which uses energy and resources efficiently.
Environmental protection and the preservation of life is a line responsibility that extends to all levels of management, supervision and the workforce.
All employees are takes to perform their assigned work in accordance with these policies both in company facilities and in the communitities where the company conducts business.
DE EAGLE BEST NIGERIA LIMITED Management shall in addition translate its commitment into necessary resources, to develop, operate and maintain the Safety Management System and to attain the policy and strategic objectives of the project.
Unflinching effort shall be geared towards enhancing active involvement of employees and sub-contractor personnel in improving HSE performance, by encouraging a culture of belief, motivation, individual repsonsibility, participation and commitment to the achievement of Incident-Injury Free (IIF) Culture Initiative and project goals.

The structured system for implementation and management of personnel health and safety, assets and environmental protection (HSE-MS) in DE EAGLE BEST NIGERIA LIMITED will be guided strictly by company HSE rules Policies.
This HSE WORK PLAN has been prepared in agreement with the requirements of above Management System Elements for implementation on the project phases. Compliance and/or deviations as well as other non-conformity shall be checked using relevant HSE Programs in line with the Management System and Project requirements.
